Founded in March 2014 by a group of returned oversea doctors and located in the High-tech Zone of Gaomi City, Shandong Province, Bellastem Biotechnology Limited（BBL） now stands as a state-level hi-tech enterprise providing biotech services of tumor biotherapy, R&D and clinical application of stem cells as well as genetic detection.
BBL has a high-level talent team with solid professional skills, which has 1 external academician, 7 external doctor’s degree holders,5 doctor’s degree holders，15 master’s degree bearer and nearly 100 bachelor’s degree or above possessor. With all the equipment imported from abroad and a complete quality control system required by GMP, BBL has built a 3000㎡-sized, 10K, partly hundred level sterile and modernized immune cell lab which has reached international advanced level and accords with the standard of FDA, GMP and Good manufacture practice for sterile medical devices (YY0033-2000).

In May 2018, the company got through ISO9001 Quality System certification
In November 2018, the company signed a cooperation agreement with Peking Union Medical College Hospital
In May 2019, Hou Yunde Academician Workstation was established in BBL.
In June 2019,the company won Excellence Award of the 7th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Shandong Division.
In November 2019, a HIV project successfully applied for the Key Research Projects in Shandong Province in 2019 and has been approved.
In December 2019, the company got the approval to build Regional Cell Preparation Center of Weifang City.
In April 2020, Chen Zhigang Academician Workstation was established in BBL.
In November 2020, New R&D Institutions in Shandong Province was put on records.
In December 2020, BBL was identified as High-Tech Enterprise, and approved to construct Weifang Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community.
In August 2021, BBL completed the first round financing with ￥125.46 million.
In September 2021, BBL establieshed Weifang Xingrui Medical Detection Lab.
In November 2021, BBL found a subsidery company in Shanghai; in December, found a subsidery company in Beijing.
In May 2022，BBL got the Intellectual Property Manageement System Certificate.
In June 2022, BBL was identified as Engineering Research Centers in Shandong Province.
